When a form asks for one image
Most exam portals take the photo and the signature as two separate files. A few application forms, admit-card corrections and offline forms instead ask for one picture that holds both, such as the photo on top and the signature under it. Only do this when your notification asks for it: a joined image uploaded into a box meant for the photo alone can be rejected.
How to join them
- Tap Photo and choose your photo, then tap Signature and choose your signature.
- Choose Photo above signature or Side by side, whichever your form shows.
- Type the width in pixels and the largest file size in KB from your notification. Add your name below if the form asks for it.
- Check the preview, then tap Download JPG.
The photo keeps its shape and fills the width. The signature is fitted inside its space without being cut or stretched, on a white background.
Get each part right first
The joiner puts your pictures together as they are. If the photo has a grey background or the signature was photographed on grey paper, fix that first: the photo resizer can fix dim lighting, and the signature resizer can clean the paper to pure white and turn blue ink black. Download those, then join the results here.
Common mistakes
- Guessing the size. Forms that want one image give its width or KB limit in the notification. Use those numbers rather than the defaults here.
- A signature that is too small. Crop the empty paper around your signature before joining, so the ink fills its space.
- Joining when two files are asked for. If the portal has separate photo and signature boxes, upload two files instead, using the photo resizer and the signature resizer.
